Why Playing HP Before Sleeping Causes Diabetes?
Cell phones work by utilizing radio waves. This wave can produce radiation that affects the user’s body.
Research published in Physiology & Behavior revealed that blood sugar levels can increase due to exposure to light from the device gadgets just before going to bed. Light at night can be an endocrine disruptor.
Exposure to artificial light from cell phones at night can disrupt the body’s natural rhythm or what is known as the circadian rhythm. These rhythms work closely with the brain, which is affected by light as a cue from the environment. That way, the body can know when to wake up or sleep.
If the circadian rhythm is disrupted, it will be difficult for the body to recognize between morning and night. If that happens, you can have trouble sleeping or experience insomnia. When this goes on for a long time, then the health of the body can be problematic.

In addition, the light from a blue screen can also interfere with the body’s regulation of hormone rhythms in endocrine tissues. One of the common endocrine disorders, namely diabetes due to increased blood sugar. This is the reason why playing HP can cause diabetes.
For people who have bad sleeping habits, blood sugar levels can spike while sleeping. While people who are healthy and have good sleep patterns, insulin in the body can handle blood glucose spikes by telling muscle, fat, and liver cells to help absorb blood glucose. That way, blood sugar levels remain stable.
In addition, based on the research results contained in Society for the Study of Ingestive Behavior Conference, one hour of exposure to blue light at night can cause rat brains to crave sugar. Note that these rodents drank more sugar at night when they were exposed to blue light than at night without blue light.
Tips for Reducing Blue Screen Exposure from Cellphones
Knowing that there is a link between playing cell phones before bed and diabetes, start to reduce this habit. That way, you can reduce the amount of radiation exposure.
At first, you may have a hard time keeping yourself from playing on your phone. However, it is the most effective way to reduce exposure to blue light at night.
You can turn off your phone or stay away from the blue screen when you want to sleep. In addition, you can reduce or dim the lights at night.

If you have to stay behind a cell phone screen, try wearing special glasses that can help reduce exposure to blue light. While this method may not work for everyone, these blue light-blocking glasses can reduce the melatonin-boosting effects of bright light.
Apart from using special glasses or dimming the source of blue light exposure, you can also do other things. For example, improving the sleep environment by dimming the brightness on your phone or using night mode to reduce emission of blue light.
